Ms. Fox is admitted to practice in New York State and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association Elder Law and Trusts & Estate Committees; Nassau Bar Association Elder Law, Social Services, and Health Advocacy Committee and the Surrogate’s Court Estates & Trusts Committee.
Kathleen M. Fox, R.N., a registered nurse and an attorney, is a practitioner with the law firm of Kathleen M. Fox, P.C. Ms. Fox provides legal representation and consultation in the areas of Elder Law and Guardianship, Estate Planning and Residential Real Estate.
Through the rewarding experience of being a critical care nurse, Ms. Fox further committed herself to helping the elder community. Her knowledge of the legalities pertaining to the elderly, as well as her compassionate and understanding approach, provides support and assistance against the constant and overwhelming changes in Elder Law.
Ms. Fox received her J.D. from Touro College School of Law in 1987. In 1980, she graduated from Molloy College where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree. Prior to attending Molloy College, Ms. Fox received an Associate Degree in Nursing and worked in the critical care areas of Saint Francis Hospital for ten years.
